Our COVID-19 Procedure

Please read the guidelines below in advance of your visit to the salon.

Safety measures

Protective screens have been installed between each basin and at reception.

Every work station being used is more than 2 metres apart.

The work stations and basins will be fully sanitised between uses.

All equipment used on your hair will be sterilised before and after use.

All common touch points will be regularly and thoroughly sanitised.

Magazines have been removed.

Refreshments have been temporarily suspended.

We have scheduled extra time between appointments to allow for thorough cleaning.

We have temporarily suspended some services.

Appointments

Please call to reschedule your appointment if you or anyone in your household has any COVID-19 symptoms. You will receive a text 48 hours before your appointment – it will ask you to state whether you are symptom free and confirm your appointment.

Appointments will have to be pre-booked, we will be not accepting walk-ins or new clients at the moment.

We may ask more thorough questions when booking on the phone. Please do not feel embarrassed if you have done anything to your hair. This is to allow us to book the correct amount of time for your appointment.

Please only bring essential items with you, we cannot store extra bags or shopping. Please bring a jacket that you can store on your lap.

Please come alone to your appointment.

On your Arrival

Please arrive on time to your appointment (not early or late) and wait outside where you will be promptly greeted. We will still give you a warm welcome, just without the contact.

If you are late, we have the right to refuse or change your appointment due to strict restrictions on the number of people we have in the salon and extra time needed to clean between appointments.

You will be required to have your temperature taken before proceeding with your appointment.

Please use the hand sanitiser at the sanitising station on arrival. You will be provided with a face mask and disposable gown. You will be required to wear a face mask during the entire visit.

Our team will be wearing appropriate PPE including a visor and a face mask.

As always, we will still be using our disposable, biodegradable towels.

During your service

You will still receive your consultation that you are used to, just at an appropriate distance.

All equipment used on your hair will be sterilised before and after use.

There will be no more than 3 people in the salon at any one time (1 hairdresser and 2 clients at a safe distance).

You stylist will still wear gloves when applying your colour.

Your stylist will sanitise their hands before and after any service.

When checking out

We ask that you do not touch our retail displays, your stylist will happily collect what you want and sanitise it before handing it over.

Please have your diary to hand for a smooth re-booking and departure.

When exiting the salon please sanitise your hands at the sanitising station provided.

Due to the expense of bringing in extra PPE we are having to introduce a temporary PPE charge of £2 per client . We are not making any profit from this, it is purely to cover all of the extra safety measures we have put into place for the safety of everybody.
